Name of the Post: Cultural Quota in Group ‘C’

Names of Cultural Disciplines: 

1. Vocal Music: 01 post

2. Dance: 01 post

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for UR candidates, 18 to 33 for OBC candidates and 18 to 35 years for SC/ ST candidates. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2013. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates and for candidates having higher qualification).

Professional Qualification:

Vocal Music: Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Music from Government recognized Institute:

Dance: Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Dance from Government recognized Institute.

Application Fee Details: UR and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 40/- in the form of Indian Postal Order/ Bank Draft/ Cash receipt issued by Cash Office, CLW/Chittaranjan drawn in favour of FA&CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan,  payable at Chittaranjan/ SBI/Chittaranjan. SC/ST, EXSM, Physically challenged, women, minority candidates and EBC are exempted from the fee.

Selection Procedure: Candidates need to pay Written Test, Practical Demonstration, Testimonials / Prizes etc. and Document Verification.
