RRC Chennai Recruitment 2013 – 32 Sports Quota Vacancies: Railway Recruitment Board Chennai has issued notification for filling up of 32 Sports Quota Vacancies. Eligible Indian Nationals can apply in a prescribed format on or before 18-01-2013. II. Games / Events (Grade Pay Rs.1800/-) – 20 posts

1. Athletics (Men) – 01 post

2. Athletics (Women) – 03 posts

3. Basket Ball (Men) – 02 posts

4. Billiards & Snookers (Men) – 01 post

5. Body Building (Men) – 02 posts

Age Limit: Candidates age must be 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2013. Sports men who had born between 02-01-1988 to 01-01-1995 can apply.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess 10th / ITI / Equivalent for Grade Pay with Rs. 1800/1900/2000 posts along with representation in the Country in any of the Category ‘B’/’C’ Champion Ships/Events and candidates must possess Graduation for Grade Pay with Rs.2400/2800 Posts along with the representation in  the country in Olympics (Category ‘A’).

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.40/- as Processing Fee either in the form of Demand Drafts/Indian Postal Order drawn in the favor of ‘The Assistant Personnel Officer/Railway Recruitment Cell’ payable at Chennai. No Fee for SC / ST / PWD / Minority / Economically Backward Classes candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Trail & Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates have to apply in a prescribed format as given in the notification which can be downloaded. Fill it with all mandatory details, affix latest photograph, attest the left hand thumb impression and attest signature in the specified place, enclose all the documentary proofs in support of age, caste, education, sports achievements and other qualifications along with the DD/Indian Postal Order by super scribing the envelope as the “Application for Recruitment Against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement ) For the Year 2012 – 2013” and send it to The Assistant Personnel Officer/Recruitment, Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway, III Floor, No. 5, Dr. P. V. Cherian Crescent Road, Egmore, Chennai – 600008 on or before 18-01-2013.
