Central Railway Jobs 2013 – Scouts and Guides Quota
Vacancies: Central Railway Recruitment, Mumbai has issued
notification for the recruitment of 06 Scouts and Guides Quota positions under
Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ categories. Eligible Candidates may apply through
prescribed application format on or before 04-02-2013. For more details regarding

Central Railway Recruitment Vacancy details:
Total no of vacancies: 06
Name of the Post:
1. Group ‘C’
2. Group ‘D’
Age limit: Candidates age
should be 18-30 years for Group ‘C’ category, 18-33 years for Group D category
positions. Age limit is as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations will be applicable as
per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidate should possess Matriculation or equivalent from recognized
board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for Group ‘C’ positions, 10th class
passed or ITI or equivalent for Group ‘D’ positions along with Scouts &
Guides Qualifications.
Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.40/- (Rupees forty only) for Unreserved and
OBC candidates. Examination fee should be paid in the form of Indian Postal
Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of and payable at Post applied for
Group ‘C’ Central Railway Zonal Quota, APO (RT) Central Railway Mumbai & Payable
at Mumbai.
Selection Process: Selection of the candidate will be based on the performance in
written test followed by interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through application forms by filling with
the details according to mentioned format in the notification. Candidate has to
affix one recent passport size photograph on the application in the space
provided for the purpose and candidate is also required to attach one extra
passport size photograph along with the application. Application should be sent
by ordinary post or dropped in box kept in the office kept for the purpose. The
cover containing the application must be super scribed “Application for Scouts/
Guides-2012-13(group C/ D)’ (HQrs/ division) for which the applying.
Application completed in all respects should sent in a covered address as
mentioned in the notification, on or before 04-02-2013.
Important dates:
Closing Date and time for Receipt of applications: 04-02-2013 up to 18:00hrs.
Closing date for Candidates residing abroad: 19-02-2013 at 18:00 hrs
