Railway recruits 26 Group ‘C’ & Group ‘D’ posts against recruitment of
Sports quota. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application
form on or before 21-01-2013. For more details regarding age limit,

Age Limit: Candidate should have 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2013.
Educational
Qualification: Candidate
must possess Degree or its equivalent for the post of GP Rs.2800/- ,
Matriculation or its equivalent for the post of GP Rs.1900/- & Rs.2000/- ,
Pass in Matriculation or ITI for the post of GP Rs.1800/- along with relevant
sports qualification for all the posts.
Examination
Fee: Candidates need
to pay the fee in the form of Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for
Rs.60/- for Gr.- C post having GP Rs.2800/- and Rs.40/- for posts having GP
Rs.2000/-, 1900/- & Rs.1800/- will be the examination fee for unreserved
and OBC candidates. Bank Draft/IPO should be issued in favour of the addressee
as mentioned in the notification. Fee exempted for SC/ST/Women/Minority Candidates.
Selection
Process: Selection
will be done on the basis of performance in Trial and Interview.
How to
Apply: Eligible
candidates may apply through prescribed application form given in the
notification, fill it with complete details, affix two photos duly signed by
the candidate & attested by a Gazetted Officer along with photocopies of
certificates, Sports certificate should be attested by a gazetted officer, two
self addressed envelopes, DD form . Candidates should write the “name of the event,
category applied for” and post meant for in block letters at the
top of envelope super crib as “Application for recruitment on sports quota-
2012-13” to the respective address available in the notification.
