Age Limit: Candidate should have 18 & 40 years for General as on 01-01-2012. (Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.150/- with processing charge of Rs.50/- and bank will charge Rs.20/- (Only processing charge of Rs.50/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) for General and OBC candidates. Fee can be payable through all branches of United Bank of India and deposited to A/C No.0088050006323 vide challan specially designed and available at Commission’s website www.mscwb.org.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in preliminary examination and main examination.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in the notification, fill application form with all given mandatory details, affix passport size photograph and signed on the front side of the photograph, and sent along with self attested photocopies of the documents/ certificates, one part of the challan meant for the Commission must be reach by post or in the box kept at Commission’s Office, the  Municipal Service Commission, 149, A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata-700 014 on or before 31-12-2012.
