Total No. of Vacancies: 41610
Name of the Post:
1. Reserve Police: 35, 500 Posts (20000 Posts increased to 35,500 Posts)
2. Police Regional Armed Constabulary: 4,033 Posts
3. Fireman: 2,077 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates
age must be between 18-22 years for male candidates & 18-25 years for
female candidates as on 01-07-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per the
rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess 10th class pass or equivalent.
Application Fee: Candidates
have to pay Rs.200/- as application fee in the shape of system generated
challan in SBI/ Punjab National Bank.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Performance in
Physical Fitness Test & Written Test.
How to Apply: Candidates
have to apply online from http://uppbpb.gov.in & http://prpb.up.nic.in from
18-07-2013 to 18-08-2013. No need to submit any mark lists, certificates along
with online application or by post.
Instructions for online Applications:
1. Candidates have to pay the prescribed amount and obtain the OMR Application from the Post Office.
2. Fill the form and submit it in the same branch.
3. No Need to attach any documentary proofs.
4. Candidates can directly apply through internet also.
5. First log on to http://uppbpb.gov.in & http://prpb.up.nic.in from 18-07-2013 to 18-08-2013.
6. Candidates have to scan their photo and signature. Click on ‘Candidates Registration’ and take print of Registration Slip & E-Challan.
7. Make payment in SBI/ Punjab National Bank. After one day candidates have to log in again.
8. Candidates can enter Transaction ID, Journal Number and all other details must fill the details before 2.00 pm.
9. Upload the photo and signature.
10. Now Click on ‘View Application Form’ Check the application.
11. Now Click on ‘Submit’ Button.
12. Take Print Copy of the Submitted Application for further usage.

Last Date for Submission of OMR Application in Post Offices: 20-08-2013.
Starting Date for Online Registration: 18-07-2013.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess

Application Fee: After filling in the
Candidates ‘Registration’ format of the On-line application, candidate shall
procure the print out of the E-challan. Fee must be paid at any of the branches
of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank. Amount of fee would be Rs. 80/-
for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 40/- for SC/ST candidates. PWD
candidates are exempted from fee payment. For Dependants/ Ex-Serviceman/Women
According to the original category mentioned in the notification.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be
selected on the basis of Examination and Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply
online through the website http://uppsc.up.nic.in/ on or before 29-01-2013.
After registration, candidates have to take print out of registration slip as
well as Challan.
Instructions for Online
Application:
1. Log on http://uppsc.up.nic.in/ to access the home page and select the “Candidate Registration” link.
2. Select the ‘Apply’ link and click on it.
3. Select the ‘Candidate Registration’ link besides the desired post to be applied for.
4. Fill all marked details carefully in Part I of application form and Submit.
5. Registration Slip will be generated, take print out and select “Generate E-Challan” option.
6. Make payment using payment challan and revisit website and this time select part II of
application.
7. Fill all mandatory details including fee payment details, upload your photograph and signature at the places provided.
8. Select Submit Application Form and take print out of application form and retain it for further use.
Important Dates:
Issue of Notification: 29-12-2012.
Last Date for the Receipt of Application Fee in the Bank: 25-01-2013.

online through the given link in the notification. Register the name and
get the ID, make payment and then fill the application on or before 27-12-2012.
Instructions
to Online Applicants:
1. First Candidates have to register the name by using the given link in the notification or from www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
2. The ID produced after registration must be kept safely for reopening the Application for filling online application.
3. Download the e-challan and take print out, make the payment.
4. Again visit the website for filling the online application. Before filling up candidates have to scan their photo, signature and thumb impression for uploading.
5. Now candidate can start filling the application carefully, after completion of first page candidate have to click on the continue button and go to next page.
6. Fill all the fields and click on the Submit and click on Lock button for submission.

Date of Issue: 07-12-2012
Starting Date for Online Registration/e-challan Submission: 07-12-2012.
Last Date for Registration through Online and for taking the e-challan Print Out: 27-12-2012.
Closing Date for Filling Oonline Application: 31-12-2012.
Closing Date for online registration/e-challan submission: 2 days before from the closing date of online applications.
Date for the Announcement of the Merit List through the Website: 15-01-2013
Date for the Counselling & Verifications: 21-01-2013.
Date of Medical Tests: Up to 30 days from the date of the counseling.
